1886 Elkington & Co Silver Plated Centrepiece Dishes

Superb and rarely encountered antique silver-plated centrepiece serving dishes by the renowned Elkington & Co, dating precisely to 1886.

One piece features an elegant form raised upon three distinctive ball feet, giving it a wonderfully substantial and decorative presence. The secondary piece, without feet, sits harmoniuosly inside the primary dish, or alongside.

The underside bears the registered design number 60102, dating the design to 1886 and adding further historical interest to this exceptional piece.

A striking example of late-Victorian tableware that would make a fabulous centrepiece, serving dish, display piece or addition to an antique silver collection.
