1920's Belgique Iron and Softwood Dining Table

Tax included.

A formidably heavy yet delicate 6-person antique dining table, featuring a graceful iron construction and a chunky softwood top. Circa 1920s and of Belgique origin, this table would command centre stage in any dining room setting or equally look magnificent outdoors, especially in preparation for the al fresco months ahead. The iron framework shows slight rusting, which can be treated with grate polish or left to exude its charm. Currently, the top has been treated using Fiddes Welsh wax and is suitable as an indoor finish only. Therefore, if remaining outside, a suitable cover would be required. The leg framework is so substantial that it should hold a cover even in the strongest of winds. Alternatively, the existing finish can be easily stripped, and a suitable outdoor finish can be applied.
